Hi,

I've a problem with the subscription. Name and a valid adrese mail was used in the subscription form, the message "Thank you for your subscription. Your subscription has been created and an activation link has been sent to the email address you entered. ..." appear, but I never received the mail for activate my account.

I see my name in the subscribers list with the status "non activated'. I activate this account and try to send a newsletter, and it's ok.
I try also to send a mail (phoca email - write) and it's also ok.

so it's only a problem with the mail send when we use the subscription form.

any ideas ?

Hi, did you check the global configuration for Joomla! email settings - try to set the smtp options there

configuration is ok
it's strange beacuse newsletter can ben send, it's just the validation mail that's not sent

Hi, hmm, did you check the spambox in your email account - for the sending of activation email the same script like for sending newsletter is used
