Klarna payments

My first posting here.

We currently use Abicart but I am looking for an alternative and found that Joomlia/PhocaCart could be the one to go for.

Now I've set up Joomla and installed PhocaCart and looking for payment solutions.

As we are signed to Klarna this is the only option for me and I can't find anything related to this. Is it so that Phoca doesn't have a Klarna plugin? If so then I am afraid I have to look further and change platform. I tried Wordpress/WooCoomerce which does the job but as I am not very fund using Wordpress it's a no go.

Sp Klarna and Joomla, is that Utopia?

For Klarna the only available plugin is Stripe for Phoca Cart by NorrNext

It is paid plugin but it worth every cent.

That's perculiar. Klarna being one of the largest actors in Europe and no possibility to hook it up with Joomla without paying monthly fees. I am not prepaired paying another fee to just be able to let the customers pay for the products I'm selling.

That made me change platform and unfortunently reinstall WooCommerce. I'm really not found of doing that but what can one do when the option is lacking.

Maybe you could contact @sulpher . He is developer of Stripe plugin and some other payment plugin.
Maybe he can develop dedicated plugin for Klarna / Swish if you can provide some details from Klarna API.

Stout, there is no direct integration yet, but you can use alternative payment methods that support Klarna.
There are the following ones: Stripe and QuickPay. You can compare their fees.

WP is not a trustful platform due to its architecture and recent disagreements that endangers the business whose sites are based on this CMS. Choosing Joomla is a worth step to future.
However, if something is missing in an e-commerce solution, it's possible to resolve such a task by finding a someone who can do custom work under a commercial task. E-commerce sites are about business and it's logical to reserve some expenses on a custom work when it is needed. (I am not promoting myself, just sharing the idea in general).

You are welcome. I use NorrNext Stripe for Phoca Cart plugin for my client based in Sweden. It works flawlessly and beside Klarna it supports Swish, bank cards (that are most used on client's online shop) and many other popular payment methods.
For my client, Stripe fees are acceptable.
