maximum file size for download products of a webshop

Post by TzaIS »

Hi,
I want to sell downloads with my webshop. Here you have a maximum file size for uploading. How big is this? Is it possible to exceed this limit? With an FTP client this should work. Is there any difficulty for the customer to download after the purchase process is completed with such a large file? Thank you for answering these questions.
Sincerely, Thomas.

Here the same in German language:

Hi,

Siehe Bild:

Hi Benno,
I just tried to enter a "0" in both fields "Upload Size" in "System>Configuration>Phoca Cart>Form>Security Options>Maximum Upload Size". Then "Save and Close", unfortunately without success when trying to upload a ZIP file consisting of JPG and DOCX files. What is wrong?

Hi Benno,
Was ist falsch?

Hi,

Hi Benno,
thanks for your answer. If FTP solves this problem, that's enough for me! A more elegant option would be great, but it is not necessary for me. Thanks for your answer. The folder name I bring out very well, into which I must copy the ZIP file. At first I thought that for security reasons a JPG and/or a DOCX file must not be packed. Somewhere there is the option of the "MIME type" also under "Configuration>Phoca Cart>Form>Security options", but I don't look too much further, that's just a black box for me. Many thanks and
With kind regards, Thomas.

Hi Benno,

Ja, Zip ist ja auch ein Mime-Typ {zip=application/x-zip}

Benno
