Browser compatibility

Post by nieuwej »

Good evening!

I installed PhocaFont on my Joomla 1.7 site, because the font included in the template did not show up in IE8. However, after uploading the font package (great manual by the way, it was very easy) the font is visible in IE8 and Chrome but suddenly not anymore in FireFox (6.0.2).

Any idea what might have gone wrong?

thanks in advance,

Jeannette

Finally managed to solve it myself, BUT....

now the font isn't visible in IE8 anymore. I presume this must have something to do with the .eot file? Does this file type apply to IE only? May this be caused by a wrong conversion?

Hi, yes, the eot is for IE only.

Hello,

Could you please tell me how you fixed it so it shows up in Firefox? I have the exact same problem.

I would PM you but since I'm a newly registered member I can't use PM yet.

Hi, fonts are normally displayed in Firefox, tested many times by many users, I see no problem with CSS font rules and Firefox :-(
