Hi,
We use the intro image as og:image, but sometimes the filename contains special characters, like á, é, ó, etc.
For example: mydomain/images/uploads/content/2024/11/láz.jpg.
In this case, Facebook doesn't use it and says:
"Provided og:image URL could not be processed as an image. It may be corrupted or may have an invalid format."
When I rename it to laz.jpg and update the article config, the image works fine.
I was wondering if this issue is maybe related to URL encoding or something similar? I tried setting it as l%C3%A1z.jpg, but I got the same error message.
Any idea what might be causing this? I’d prefer not to rename all my images.

Re: og:image and special characters
Hi, I think, you need to ask Facebook developers if there is a way to accept such image names.
