is there an option or plugin available, so a visitor can enter their e-mail to be able to download?
They will be send a link to download.
Instead of having to register.

OK but btw what is the goal of this. Enabling this in fact means:

- users who wants to download something will add fake emails there
- spam bots will use this field to overload your website with spam

They would get an email with the download link. (a hidden download)
This way it only works with valid email.
If no response within a set time frame, the address would be deleted from the list.
You build up an email list with people who are really interested in your stuff, and you can send them an update on new things to download or whatever. (so maybe it looks a bit like a newsletter, but in this case they really get a reward like a music song or similar)

Hi, for now, there is even option to use token links to download in Phoca Download. So maybe this can be used in cooperation with some another component - some email/newsletter component plus some modification to get Phoca Download token links

Ok. I know from the token in Phoca Download. Don't know if it could work.
