Just upgraded to the latest version 3.1.9
Now when I click on 'New' to create a new file I just get a blank page.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Joomla is 3.9.6 and PHP 7.1

Hi, blank page mostly means a php error. Enable php error reporting to see which error you get there:
