Using $this when not in object context

Hi,
I'm having the issue in the subject and no phocadownload files are available.
I've activate the debug and here you can see what I get when I try to download a file:

Any idea of what could be done to fix it?

I realized that I had the 3.0.3 version, now I've updated the last version (3.1.7) and now it works.
I was wondering why I did not get automatic update.
Do you know why?

Hi mcanonic,

Some generell informations concerning "Fatal Error 0 Using $this when not in object context"

This error we could see very often in the past, in connecting with PHP 7.2 >
- some extensions
- some templates
- framework, not updated e.g. Helix plugin
etc. ...

In the meantime, all Phoca extensions are ready for PHP 7.2 / (7.3)

I was wondering why I did not get automatic update.

There were problems with update Server. The update manifest.xml has been recently reuploaded from Jan.

I'm not sure if now I already have the new xml file since I've updated to 3.1.7 or I have to manually upload the new xml file.

Hi mcanonic,

as everything will work (now) as expected, it seems you have the latest one.
It was just explanation about the "fatal error" resp. problems with Update Server weeks ago.
