Dear all,

I have a strange thing, if I try to download a file via my mobile (Android - Chrome) and I click the download button I get redirected to the category without the download. When I do the same on a PC (W7 - Chrome) the download works fine. Yet I received a mail from a user that when he was logged in on the windows account of his wife he could not download a file, while logged in on his own account he could. In both cases the user was not logged in on the website!

Does anybody have any idea what can cause this behavior?

Hi, hmmm, really hard to say. Maybe it could be good to test download files from another site (try to download form Phoca Download download site) to test if this can be related to browser or to server

Hi Jan,

This is strange. I can download from the phoca site but still I'm redirected to the folder view without downloading any file from my own site when using Android chrome.

Hmmm, did you ask your webhosting provider, if there is no some limit on the server?

That is not the case and if so nobody would be able to download the file. I can download that same file on my PC but not on my mobile. Somebody else is able to download on his PC but his wife is not while on tree same PC but on another windows Useraccount.
I have absolutely no clue what is happening. But I've added the link for testing purposes.

Don't know, but I have no problems following the link...

When I am able to reach the site, (with mobile or on desktop), I get the download working without any problems. Really hard to say what can be the problem there

I understand. I don't know either. I will try to search for an explanation, but for now I just don't know.
