Phoca Download Search Plugin: 3.1.0

I installed the latest search plugin with the latest phoca download component and when I search for any of my files, instead of returning the menu URL in the search, it is pulling the component link instead. Is there any solution to stopping this behavior from happening?

instead of the below result
myurl/public-policy/resolutions/category/4-2017-ratified-policy-resolutions.html

I am getting the below
myurl/component/phocadownload/category/4-2017-ratified-policy-resolutions.html

There is already a menu item created for the downloads and categories and the result is that only in search results, it uses the component link instead of the SEF link.

Hi, which version of Phoca Download and which version of Phoca Download serch plugin do you use? Is there a link to some page of your site where the search module is displayed?

What happens when you disable the suffix .html in SEF options?

My install specifications are as follows

The search is available on all pages of the site but you can specifically go to the page below and there is a search field there also

I have disabled each SEF option one at a time and the result is the same and even if I disable SEF alltogether, clicking the search result still gives me an error from the search results

Hi, I enabled SEF links because I was getting the same results when I disabled SEF links. Whether the option is on or off, I am getting the same result when I click the search result link.

And did you create a menu link to Phoca Download (e.g. to Phoca Download categories view)?

Do you use some specific SEF solution? Can I see the URLs without SEF enabled? Maybe there is some system plugin or specific extension or specific SEF which changes the links Really hard to say

The search plugin just get the SEF link by the component - by the menu link

Maybe you can test what happens when you create a menu link to categories view of Phoca Download - if the link will be accepted by the search plugin
