Pagination

OH MY GOD... I got it to work. So I have to have only ONE menu item for the entire category list view and should not add any other links in the menu to anything (category or list) otherwise the pagination will not show up.
It is not a big deal for me, I just have to give up on some navigation shortcuts that I had purposely added. I guess people have to figure that bit out on themselves when visiting my site!

im really new in this phoca gallery joomla things i want fix my pagination
so the problem is i only see 20 pictures in my category and no pagination
i searched everywhere fix it but i just cant find it i also went to global configuration
and set the list lenght to 100 but no result plz help me

Hi bek,
you have to enable pagination in your menulink to Phoca Gallery.
Backend --> Menus --> (e.g.) Main Menu --> Menu Item Manager: [(e.g.) mainmenu] --> Your link to Phoca Gallery Component --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] --> Parameters (Basic) -->
Show Pagination (Categories View)=as you like
Show Pagination (Category View)=Show
Display Select (Categories View)=as you like
Display Select (Category View)=Show
Save your settings!
Now your pagination will be visible in frontend.

Ok. Old topic but similar problem.
I did as You say.
menu link, copy it and put in the article. Ok pagination shows up ordering too.
In Menu Manager: Edit Menu Item all basic option set to display.
Adress looks like:

Code: Select all

index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=2&Itemid=240

And ok.
Pagination and ordering works only for photos (inside category) but not for categories (pagination shows up but it doesn't work), eg.
The link is to category (id-2), in it there are more categories, to witch ordering and pagination doesn't work (it works only for photos inside them)
Why? why I can't sort categories view if they are set to displayed. I don't know maybe something in options or something. How should be set correct configuration to make pagination work for categories too (not only for photos).
joomla 2.5.8 phoca gallery 3.2.2

I sea now that even if in category are photos and another categories pagination works only for photo too (not for all elements in category; photos + another categories)
