I posted my questions to the normal PhocaGallery forum but perhaps they are better here:

Number of Columns
Just upgraded to 4.0.0 RC. Everything looks the same but the Categories view is a mess. With 4.0, how do I control "number of columns" in Categories view? The option is no longer there.

Mosaic Effects
How is this used? Is there documentation for where to place the thumbnails, how big they should be, etc.

categories view: the phoca gallery was cleaned so some views were removed and will be newly added - this is in feature request list.

mosaic effect: documentation will be written after it will be stable - quick doc: just enable mosaic effect in parameters and read its description, you need to enable additinonal thumbnails parameter and create additional thumbnails (they will be automatically created after additional thumbnails parameter will be set to yes)
