Dear all

I have a problem. I have already an existing phoca gallery. It works fine. All images are showing nicely on the frontend and the backend.

Of course there is a but....

I would like to upload a new image in an excisting catagory. I can upload using upload in phoca. But the image is not shown in the backend and the frontend. Instead i see "no image"icon.

I tried to upload jpg, png. The image is within the maximum upload size and i tried using ftp. Nothing helps. No image is shown.
The following is also strange: if I download the image from the server using ftp, the image which is not visible on the website is very much visable on my pc as if the image is in perfect order.

Could you please advise?

f.y.i. i use Joomla 3.9.25
Phoca gallery 4.4.2
and php version 5.6.40 ( i now this version is not supported anymore, but due to the used template i am forced to use this version)
image name is pastapesto.jpg

When Thumbnails Generation is enabled you need to go to:
Backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Images
and the missing thumbnails will be generated page by page.

In the referred topic you mentioned this was the solution:

you need to enable thumbnails generation again:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Thumbnails -->
Pagination Thumbnail Generation=Yes
Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes
Save & Close"
