Change the appearance of phoca gallery

Post by igorczarnowo »

Hello, How do I configure the basic phoca gallery look to look like the demo on the phoca website. My point is that on the demo in a given category, there are several thumbnail images, and after clicking on the categories, these thumbnails are shown.

Which one - do you mean this demo? https://www.phoca.cz/joomla3demo/

If yes, see here please: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca- ... -demo-site

I set it up as on the demo. But every time after reloading the page, the thumbnails get crumbled. How to set 3 categories in a row?

Hi, there are no columns in Phoca Gallery, images are stored in float boxes.

If you want to set boxes per line, use e.g. Phoca Photo which is styled by Bootstrap. In Phoca Photo, you can set number of columns:
Image

In Phoca Gallery, image boxes just fill the box/site. It is possible to set columns per page when you set fixed width for box and width for boxes, e.g. fixed width is 500 px, so then the size of image boxes will be 200px (200px + padding + margin = 1 column + 200px + padding + margin = 2 column). But mostly this is not the preffered solution because of responsive design, so:

a) if image should fill whole site, then use Phoca Gallery
b) if you want to set number of columns, use Phoca Photo which is stylized by Bootstrap
