Show original

Post by thefwguy »

I wonder if there is a way to see the original picture when browsing them.
I understand the need to use thumbnails and reduced size pictures when scrolling them, but it would be nice to be able to load the original picture for details.
I'm using phoca gallery to show family pictures associating them to a description.
However often the thumbnails generated are really too small to see group of people.
Would be great to be able to click on the picture and have it loaded the original.
Is it possible to do that or is something not yet available ?

Thanks

Hi,
Is it possible to do that or is something not yet available ?
With detail view HighslideJS(Image only) it's possible.
Set: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Detail View --> Detail View Settings -->
Detail Window=HighslideJS(Image only)
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Detail View --> Detail View Settings --> Highslide JS -->
Highslide JS Full Image=Yes
Save & Close

Kind regards,

Thanks !
It works and I really like the way is done, however in this way I can't see the text associated to the picture.
The idea is to have a way to show the picture and the description of the picture, telling who is in the picture and other information about that.
It is Ok also to see picture and description in separate ways, but is really important to be able to see both.

Thanks
