User Upload - rotate image

I'm using User Upload (html 5 uploader) but some images are rotated incorrectly. I'm sure there used to be a a way of rotating images manually in User Upload but can't find this anywhere. Is this feature still available? Thanks.

Hi, when uploading images, there is no feature to rotate the images/thumbnails.

You can rotate the images in administration, in image list.

Thanks Jan. I discovered that

Phoca Gallery | Options | Users | Enable Java Upload = Yes

provides front end functionality to rotate images using User Upload, and although the user interface is not as good as the standard uploader, it avoids the sometimes undesirable alternative of providing users with Administration access.

Hi, yes, the java upload can work directly on users' PC, but there can be problems that user needs to have enabled java on PC.

Any chance to add this feature soon? I would also be interested. Ideally, when user has rights to upload / delete they shall also have rights (possibility) to rotate.

Hi, I have added it to feature request lists, but really no idea when I will find time for doing it because first I need to make the extensions update and this is really time consuming, extensions need to be rewritten for:

- PHP 7.1
- MySQL Strict Standards (which is really hard for example because of rules like FULL_GROUP_BY and the function like Joomla! works)
- new Joomla! methods (a lot of parts needs to be completery overwritten)
- FB API changes (completely new library for newest FB API needs to be written)
- Google Photos API (the same like by FB)

Unfortunately, there is a lot of taks for now
