Hello!

I dont know if I'm completely on the wrong track or just to stupid to find the right option...


On my page I am displaying all my subcategories in a categories view with the description on the side. (http://sc-bartholomaeberg.com/index.php/altherren)

Now, when I click on a category, the description is displayed above the pictures. Thats exactely what I want but there is no category name displayed.

When I use the category view in a menu, the name is displayed correctly. (horizontal Menu -> Ausschuss)

Is it possible to change this or not?

Hi, enable displaying the title in Options (Parameters) so it is normally displayed above, see e.g. here:

This is working for those categories which are linked in a menu, but not for them which are selected in the categories view. See here:

If you select a category here, the title is not displayed.

Where can I change that?

Hi, if you go through the tree you have allways some Itemid, which means menu link parameters, try to disable SEF and see the Itemid parameter to know which menu link is activave and where the current category takes the settings, see for more info:
