When creating a new file in the admin area for Joomla 3.10 / Phoca Download 3.2.3, the category had a search feature. More specifically, in the dropdown, the top of the list had a search. This allowed you to quickly narrow down a long list of categories. In Joomla 4.3 / Phoca Download 4.0.6 this is no longer there. I can confirm Joomla 4.3 does support search from a dropdown. Was wondering if there's a way to bring this back?
