Phoca Open Graph Support for FoxChats.com

Hi guys... - Speaking to the support team from South Africa - South Africa has their own social media network.

There seems to be an issue where the image does not generate as it does on Facebook.

I have inserted the screenshot from FoxChats.com below in a link on Google Drive.
See Image: >> https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... share_link

You are welcome to contact support@foxchats.com and even ask for the source code should you need it in order to make it work.
Note. I am using Phoca Open Graph with YOOtheme Pro. on, www .undegroundpress .co .za using Joomla and it works well with other social media platforms.

I would assume you'd need to adjust the source code on this end (Phoca Open Graph)... if this is not the case, please advise further.

P.S. also note FoxChats does not use any AI in the source code.

Thank you.

Using version 4.0.5

Hi, sorry, I don't understand, if the service does not use standard way to render meta images, then probably needs to be contacted and standardize it.

Probably, just not sure which service I need to focus on. The website, mine (Underground Press) uses YOOtheme. The social Network uses Joomla.

The website also works very similarly to Facebook.
I will send a copy of your comment to the developer of the social network. As for my website. I am hoping I've set the plugin up correctly.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi, I still don't understand the problem exactly.

Joomla with help of Open Graph plugin produces meta tags which can be read by social media (Twitter, FB, ...).

So where exactly do you get the problem?

- the meta tag is not rendered
- or it is rendered but not read by social media?

The image is not rendered on this website.
foxchats.com but rendersnon other social website.
FoxChats renders other images from all other websites, except mine which uses YOOthemes Pro and has Phoca Open Graph installed.

Everything else, is rendered, from the title to the description.

I notice the website rendered an image using foxchats.com/cache/

If i replace foxchats.com with undergroundpress.co.za an image is rendered, but not the image for my article. Perhaps register there and just use a link from my website to see what happens.

Hi, see the sourcecode of your website, the meta tag part and test if the image set in meta tag has correct path. If yes, there is nothing it can be changed on your site or it can be fixed on your site.

Hi, Jan. I took a look at the source code on the site.

<meta name="twitter:image" content="https://www.undergroundpress.co.za/imag ... b_crop.jpg"> This path is correct.

This is all working great on other socials, so maybe this site is blocking something.
Thank you again for your help.

I'll just keep looking into this.

Hi, Jan.

Looks like this situation is sorted itself out.
They fixed settings in the backend to accept .webp images. After this, nothing happend...
Yesterday I added a new plugin. (JP CE Social Share) I needed this plugin, as YOOthemes did not have social share buttons...
Either it was a cache thing that fixed things up, or it was the addition of this new plugin that has helped correct the issue.

Thanks again for your time, Jan.
