I am trying to change the layout of the categories page so that each category is shown with an image and a heading(detail) above the image, and the entire box has a drop shadow, but i am getting nowhere -i have been unsuccessful trying to do this with CSS alone.

am i being slow, is there a CSS solution, if not where would i go to change the layout?

anyone help

Hi, I don't know exactly how your design should look like, so cannot give any advice but yes it can be done only per CSS as all parts have id or class tag (but how to do exactly for your needs, really hard to say ) ... making right CSS design is not easy or fast procedure, so this is normal that such solution takes some time until it will look great
