post is not shown in guestbook

Hello, can anybody please help me? I use the awesome guestbook on my Joomla 2.5 website. But posts are not shown. I have checked the forum. Review item = no and enable Akismet spam protection = no. I have checked all the settings, but nothing works. When you post a new post, the module displayes "bericht is geplaatst" (this is in Dutch) but when you refresh, there is still no post. Can anybody please help me?

can you see the posts in backend?
If yes, set:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Guestbook --> Options --> Form -->
Display Posts=Yes
Save & Close

Hello Benno, I can see the post in the backend. And yes, display post = yes. But still no posts. Thanks for yor reply.

Try to check the parameter "report only" in options, if the guestbook is set as report component, the posta are even not displayed in the frontend end (the guestbook can be used as report form for other components, e.g. for Phoca Download)

Hi Jan, thanks for your reply. I can't find "report only" in options. Is it possible that the dutch translation cause the trouble? I have installed the guestbook component on a different "test" website without the dutch translation and there the guestbook component works fine!

Hi, I don't know which translation you are using but if this is standard translation, it includes only ini files which have no dependencies to the features of the guestbook and to its parameters so there should not be such problem

Hi Jan, finaly I know what you mean. The type of guestbook was set as a rapport for Phoca download. I changed it to NO and the posts are shown. Thanks a lot! Marcel.
