in the backend there is asection called tags. can i display tags i create here on the categories view for easier search of photos and how does a normal users tie a photo to a tag in the frontend?

Hi, when you display and image, tags can be displayed below the image. If you click this tag, then images which includes this tag are displayed.

More advanced managing of tags is implementing in Phoca Cart, where you can search, filter and display more tags on one site. Phoca Cart can display the images similar way how they are displayed in Phoca Gallery.
