How to reproduce the demo page ?

Post by Scalnia »

Hi,

I'd like to reproduce your demo page style an I followed you're tutorial here but it doesn't work :(
Now I have that : https://railminiature25.fr.cr/le-club/e ... s/dortmund
What's wrong with my configuration ? If necessary I can give you an access to the administration panel.

Thanks for any help you can give me !
Regards,

Hi, did you enable different thumbnail height for category view (masonry effect) and mosaic effect for categories view? Did you enable additional thumbnails and did you recreate the thumbnails?

Hi,

Yes I followed all steps of your tutorial linked on my first message... (https://mega.nz/#F!NAETRCjZ!Y9vYuvIPbwnZ-d9liCNmrA)
Moreover, all images are shifted to the right due to Masonry effect !
I send you an account to access the administration by PM. EDIT : I can't :/

Is this component compatible with J! 3.7 ? I haven't upgraded yet.

Hi, yes, the component is compatible with Joomla! 3.7

But on this page:
https://railminiature25.fr.cr/le-club/e ... s/dortmund I don't see any "additional thumbnails" enabled

Hi,

I've updated to Joomla! 3.7. Unfortunately, it doesn't solve my problem.
I checked the global configuration again and I confirm that the option is enabled ! I tried to regenarate thumbnails but still nothing happened :/
Moreover, I see only half of the image when click on it !
As I can not send you an administrator account by PM, could you give me an email address or create an account ?

Hi, are all of your images the same dimension and the same format (e.g. only landscape) or are they e.g. portrait too?

Hi,

Images I want to put are of identical dimensions. But I added two images with 500x1000 and 1000x500 dimensions marked with "horizontal" on the first and "vertical" on the second. Despite their different sizes, these remain in frames of identical size !

I'll try to uninstall the component and install it again...

Hi,

As mentioned above, I uninstalled the component, deleted the folder containing images on the FTP, cleared "tmp" and "cache" folders of Joomla! and then I reinstalled it. I no longer have the issue with mansonry effect and I can see full images when click on them :)

However, I still have another problem : displayed images are not centered on the page and I can't find any parameters to solve it.

Hi, the masonry automatically tries to center the images so try to see if there are no paddings or margins set for the site which can then move the content to one side
