how to import photos from Google Plus and Google Photos. after the removal of the service Google picasa is not possible to import photos from picasaweb

Ok, I will take a look at it, but for now I get 404 on google photos, so no idea what happened there

Instead of ID you can type the name of the album
User ID you will find in URL bar of the album and album name you can use as Album (this works for public albums)

Hi, this works for already created albums but seems like the problem is creating new public album.

It seems like this is not possible anymore in Google Photos and if it is not possible to create public album, then it is not possible to import the images. I am trying to find some way how to get the info about the album and make it public, but seems, this is maybe not possible or very complicated:

the only problem with the new albums, the old continue to operate normally.

The problem is different, seems like Google doesn't wish to be possible to import photos from Google Photos. There is no way to make the album public and only public albums can be imported, just see the discussion:

I search some solution, there are different guides how to import it but it is more and more limited:

- first it was possible to import not public albums with key
- then it was not possible to import not public albums
- then it was not possible to make the album public
- then it was not possible to make the album public in other service (picasa)

So now, we can only import public album but we cannot do it public - they can be maybe some way to do it per API and when logged in (really difficult way) but only for images set in profile not e.g. in page you admin on google+, etc.

So I am trying to find some way to solve it (at least partially) and as written, for now only public albums can be imported and some way to make the albums public must be found, even it can be disabled soon

Hi, the user ID you can find in URL bar, e.g. if you login to Google+, you can see your ID there. The name of your album is just the name which is displayed as album name.

And the album must be public, so this does not work for new albums created in Google Photos, such are not public if created.

Unfortunately, as written, the limits are set constantly, so I am trying to find some useful solution (if possible)
