Hi Mathias,

I have the same problem with Joomla 3.2 and Phoca Gallery 4.0.3. I cannot safe anything in phoca gallery. Also the global settings of Phoca Gallery cannot be saved. It does not give an error message - the settings are just not updated. Creating categories does work.

If there's anythng I can do to further analyze or test this - please let me know.

Hey, same issue here, I have Joomla 3.2.0 and Phoca 4.0.3 and I cannot save for example the users who would have upload access into a category. Saving actually also cleared the old names that were there and new ones cannot be added, saving does not work like it should.

I am seeing the same problem. I went to the database's category table for Phoca. The fields for upload and delete had the word array in them.
If I put in my userid, then went back to the category it worked fine. Once I saved the category though the issue was back.
The fields are uploaduserid and deleteuserid.
If you need to add multiple users then enter then in for format of 600,601,602
Just don't save the category in Joomla back-end until the issue is resolved.

Hi, testing now:

- saving options works Ok for me. See no problem ... anyway Options are not managed by Phoca Gallery but by Option Com Config - so if there is a problem, this should be a question on joomla.org forum.

- categories - the same, see no problem while saving

- access, upload, delete rights ... cofirmed, seems like something changed in joomla 3.2.0 regarding storing data in tables. I will take a look at it and will fix it for next version.

Thank you for the info.

Hi,
After updating to 4.0.4 (with Joomla 3.2) I have always the same issue. The global settings of Phoca Gallery cannot be saved. It does not give an error message - the settings are just not updated. Creating categories does work.

Hi, I have fixed only the categories, as Options are not rendered by Phoca Gallery. Options (managing, saving, etc.) is fully managed by Joomla! com_config component, in fact it has no relation to Phoca (except that the Phoca Gallery XML is managed) but this is the only one relation, so I cannot fix there anything.

Try to see:
http://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... al-advices (7)

to check if the "not saving" program is not caused by limits on the server  because I think, there should not be any problem in com_config component
