Hi!

I have used Phoca Gallery mainly with the albums from Google Picasa. Until last week I had no problems! Now when I try to load/import an album from Picasa in Phoca Gallery I get the message "Picasa Album not found. Check the Album field."

I suppose that the problem is the new system from Google - they have discontinued with the service named "Picasa" and now the service is called "Photos Google+". As a consequence also the URL's are named differently e.g.: plus.google.com/photos/<USER ID>/albums/<ALBUM ID>

I'm wondering if you are going to support also the Photos Google+ service in the future version of Phoca Gallery?

P.S.: The problem is present in Joomla 1.5.25/Phoca Gallery 2.8.1 and also Joomla 2.5.1/Phoca Gallery 3.1.5

Now I have found a solution - disable redirecting and get the URL in the "old" style.
So entering an URL like https://picasaweb.google.com/<USER ID>?noredirect=1 brings you to the old style of Picasa where you can copy the User and Album name and Phoca Gallery works again with albums loaded from Picasa!

I have created a google account, uploaded some pictures via Picasa and tried to connect Phoca Gallery with google.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a Picasa user, but the google mailaddress.
Using the mailaddress in Phoca is not sufficient, meaning, there can no connection be built up.

Do you have any idea how to solve this issue.

Hi, no, for now only the import from Picasa is working. I have tested to add some pictures in Google+, and there were stored in Picasa album automatically and the import worked normally? So for now I need to do more tests.

Same problem here:
I have a website where i was able to add a lot of picasa albums some time ago (it was already G+). Those albums are still viewable correctly now, but when I want to add some new albums, I receive the error message using picasa import button. I didn't change any of the settings!
I tried to upgrade to the latest version (3.2.2), but it didn't resolve the problem .
Any idea when you can fix this problem or is there a way to find out what the exact problem is?
